About this place
At Ramen Bonzo, the flavour of the stir-fried vegetables gradually melds with the broth as you work through a bowl of miso ramen. The rich miso pairs well with thick, chewy noodles. Some diners say the vegetables and broth cling to the noodles, and even a regular serving looks set to satisfy.
Choose the classic miso ramen, or go for spicy miso if you’d like some heat. One diner found the spicy version more savoury than hot, making it an option if you want the depth of miso with only a gentle kick. For noodles served with dipping broth, the menu has miso tsukemen and spicy miso tsukemen; shio ramen is another alternative. One reviewer also enjoyed shio ramen topped with butter, a combination to consider when you want to try something beyond miso.
Boiled dumplings and a mini chashu-pork rice bowl are available as sides, so you can build a meal around the ramen. Lunch is served Monday to Saturday from 11:30 to 14:00, with evening hours from 18:00 to 21:00. The restaurant is closed on Sundays.
